November 10, 2010, is Neil Gaimanís 50th birthday (astounding, I know, because he doesnít seem to age). For this occasion, Iíd like to do the same as we did two years ago for the Terry Pratchett Project, i.e. send him as much Good Omens creativity as we can.
Between today October 18, 2010 and November 10, 2010*, Iíll be collecting artwork & photos from members of the club, and the work will be arranged, printed, bound, and mailed to Neil. This is a CLUB MEMBER'S ONLY project, so if you are not a member and wish to add your work, please join up.
UPDATE: DEADLINE EXTENDED TO NOV. 14

For this collection, you may designate work youíve already done, or draw something completely new and you may certainly submit more than one thing. This can be artwork, or photos of cosplay, crafts, etc.
Everything you send will be fully credited to you (or anonymous if youíd prefer) and I can include any captions or notations that you like. Whatever you want to include in this project, send a link of the picture to ~quantum-witch or just include it in the comments below.
If you choose to participate, YOU must do so directly by letting me know what art or photos to use. It's not for me to decide by going through the gallery and taking whatever looks good. I NEED YOUR PERMISSION.

One thing to keep in mind Ė Neil has often expressed his appreciation of fan art in general, but he does not wish to see images of his characters being slashed. Therefore:
REMEMBER: IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALL BRAND NEW WORK! Older art and photos are perfectly fine!
* I know it will be late reaching him, but itís the thought that counts, right?
Though it would be very nice, meaningful, and certainly attention-catching to send a huge project from a club that loves his work, itís certainly not the only way to go. You can send things on your own, through email or snail mail. Either way, the sentiment will be clear.

Okay... if it's all right, I'm submitting for myself, my Crowley, and our photographer (leaux and beautifulbyebye respectively). The links are to their galleries - wherever the pics are because in the end, we agreed on these, and none of them were ones I had in my gallery. XD They agreed for me to submit these. ^_^ So it's me as Aziraphale, leaux as Crowley, and beautifulbyebye as the photog. [link] [link] [link] [link]
